The New Mexico Department of Children, Youth & Families (CYFD) uses social media for outreach efforts and as communication tools to reach the general public and stakeholders. At all times, posts, comments, and interactions should be respectful and polite.
The following will not be tolerated and will result in immediate deletion:
- Harassment
- Violence
- Bullying
- Threatening
- False Information
- Spam
- Hate speech
- Name calling
- Profanity
- Political posts of any kind
- Solicitation
- Go Fund Me or similar requests/links
- Nudity
- Sexual Content of Any Kind
- External links that are unrelated to CYFD or that do not contribute to discussions about CYFD-related issues
- Comments or posts bullying CYFD Staff
- Comments or posts with specific or identifying information including but not limited to:
- Case Numbers
- Names
- Photos/videos
- Resource Foster Family identification
- Reports of abuse or neglect
If alternative means of communication are needed, CYFD will respond with the most accurate information and notify the appropriate office.
