The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides high quality legal services to all of CYFD’s pillars, bureaus and programs. OGC’s attorneys provide general legal services Department-wide covering a wide range of legal issues, including the development of contracts, administrative appeals, litigation, legislative initiatives, negotiations, settlements, evaluation of legal documents, training, compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, policy, and program development.
