About Us
CYFD believes that young people and their families are not simply clients. They are powerful catalysts for change – in their own lives and as partners in changing the systems that impact their lives.
This belief is operationalized through our core values about the young people we serve.

It Takes A Village
Child Welfare relies on a full system of state departments, law enforcement, the court system, and attorneys each playing a major role in the Child Welfare System. CYFD relies on it’s partners to best serve New Mexico.
